A bigger and better Quizlet

Quizlet has grown up a lot since I started it in 2005 and I'm proud that it's still getting better every day here in 2010. As finals get started around the world, I wanted to send out a quick message about some of the recent improvements we've made and invite you to check out Quizlet again if you haven't in a while.

Happy Studies!

What's Inside:
+ Image flashcards are here
+ FREE image uploading through May 3rd!
+ Quizlet is now on iPhone, Android, Palm, and iPad
+ Faster site, bigger team, redesigned pages

IMAGE FLASHCARDS ARE HERE
Last summer we enabled adding images from Flickr to your flashcards. Now we've launched Quizlet PLUS, which lets you upload images from your computer to your Quizlet flashcards. It's great for all kinds of studying. For just ten bucks a year you get unlimited uploads, unlimited groups, and no ads. And by supporting Quizlet in this small way, you're helping us continue to improve the core (free) study experience for everyone.

FREE IMAGE UPLOADS THROUGH MAY 3RD
Want to try uploading images to your Quizlet flashcards but not sure it's worth ten bucks yet? You're in luck! From now until May 3rd, any Quizlet user can upload images to their flashcards for free. Go ahead, login and try it out.

QUIZLET IS NOW ON IPHONE, ANDROID, PALM, AND IPAD
There are now more than a dozen mobile applications that allow you to study your Quizlet flashcards on the go. To see the complete list of apps that support Quizlet on your particular device, visit:

FASTER SITE, BIGGER TEAM, REDESIGNED PAGES
We've been making lots of improvements under the hood, which should result in a faster, smoother, and more reliable Quizlet studying experience, even at peak times.
The Quizlet team has been growing (there are now 4 of us!), and we've also been redesigning key Quizlet pages to make them even easier to use.

Stay tuned for even more improvements this summer (hint: keep an ear out for audio capabilities).

GOOD LUCK WITH EXAMS! And have a great summer!

English360's online platform

English360's online platform lets ELT teachers mix content from Cambridge University Press with their own materials, to build customised blended learning courses. For the first time, teachers are given the tools that put them in control.

Teachers can tailor courses to their learners' specific goals, by pulling relevant content together from a variety of sources, including their own worksheets and handouts, articles, podcasts and videos from the web; and by cutting and pasting lessons and exercises from 21 of Cambridge University Press's leading ELT titles.

English360's tools are both easy to use and powerful, even allowing new content to be made from scratch. Teachers are able to share the courses they create with others in their school or with the wider English360 community, and can learn from each other in discussion forums. Built-in networking features let students communicate freely with their teachers and each other while online, so they can identify in advance what to focus on at the next face-to-face lesson.

The platform is quick and simple to set up, and lets you get going immediately. 'We've designed English360 to deliver blended learning out of the box,' said Cleve Miller, Managing Director of English360.
